Yes, in some cases. If you meet CEGEP\u2019s general admission requirements but are missing certain prerequisites or are still unsure about which program to choose, the Springboard to a DCS pathway may be a good option for you. It can help you complete missing prerequisites, explore different fields of study, make the transition from high school to CEGEP easier, or gradually return to school. To find out whether this pathway is right for you, contact the CEGEP you are interested in.<\/p>\n<\/details>\n\n\n\n

I have specific needs related to a health condition or learning disability. Can I get help?<\/summary>\n

Yes. Educational institutions have a legal obligation to provide services tailored to students with a condition recognized by a healthcare professional and requiring special support measures. If you have a learning disability, ADHD, an anxiety disorder, or another condition, you may be eligible for accommodations.<\/p>\n\n\n

The accommodations offered may include extra time for exams, the use of assistive technology, note-taking assistance, and specialized support.<\/p>\n\n\n

    At university, withdrawal deadlines vary depending on the institution and semester. They are usually announced at the beginning of the semester and listed in the academic calendar. If you are considering dropping a course, be sure to check the applicable rules and deadlines with your institution.<\/p>\n\n\n

For example, you may be able to lighten your schedule, spread certain courses over a longer period, or adjust your path to support your success. Every situation is unique. If you have concerns about your workload or your life balance, talk to your educational advisor.<\/p>\n\n\n

    Some university programs allow you to pursue studies on a part-time basis. If your program offers this option, contact the program director or program administrator for help in planning your path. If you receive financial assistance from your community, check with the education department to find out the requirements you must meet, including the minimum number of courses required to maintain your financial assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n
