About the program
This program provides knowledge about oral and written language development among First Nations children. It covers language development and ways to recognize certain challenges or disorders that may affect communication and learning. Students explore language acquisition in first- and second-language settings, as well as bilingualism among children. They learn to observe, analyze, and stimulate oral and written language in order to support children’s overall development and success.
