About the program
This program prepares students to operate and manoeuvre heavy equipment for construction, excavation, grading, and road maintenance work. Students develop the knowledge and skills needed to operate different types of equipment, such as hydraulic excavators, bulldozers, graders, backhoe loaders, and off-road trucks, while complying with health and safety standards. The program prepares students to take part in infrastructure and development projects in a variety of settings, including northern communities.
