About the program
This program prepares teachers to support students as they enter secondary school, using educational approaches rooted in Indigenous cultures, languages, and values. It develops skills to better understand and support students’ academic, social, and emotional needs. It is intended for Indigenous high school teachers currently working in communities who are bilingual or have good knowledge of their language. It does not lead to provincial certification.
